Artist, Photographer and lover of all things beautiful and creative.
Originally from North Carolina, Kelly grew up on a small farm in North Carolina. Kelly began painting as a child, and studied advanced art, ceramics, french, and theatre throughout school.
Her late mother, Carolyn was Miss Lone Hickory 1968 and Kelly credits her for her acting and artistic talents. Along with her father, who is skilled with metal working, teaching Kelly to weld her sculptures at the age of 17.
At 19, she trained in traditional Photography techniques, lighting, composition and photography equipment at The New York Institute of Photography.
She moved to Wilmington, NC to study Art at University of NC at Wilmington where she earned her BA Degree in Studio Art with a concentration in painting. As well as studying color and design, photography, figure painting/drawing, watercolor, art history, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, poetry, film, and acting.
During collage, Kelly gained photography experience working at a traditional portrait & wedding photography studio in Wilmington.
Post University Kelly started her own business with a career in Photography working 15+ years, in NC, CA, SC & VA.

With a love for Wilmington’s Film Industry she enjoys acting as a hobby when the right opportunity arises.
